In October I saw the ad for free leggings, just pay shipping and I decided to go for it and see what these leggings were like! It took 2 months to get to me since they were coming straight from their SA8000 factory in Vietnam. The timing couldn’t be any more perfect because I’m going through my obsession with high quality workout clothes right now!
I made an unboxing video and show what they look like on me and when I’m doing some basic yoga with them. Getting these was one of the best impulsive decisions I’ve made all year! Can’t wait to see what other goodies they will be featuring in 2017.
They’re free leggings promo is still available for now, so try them out if you’re interested before it’s too late! www.girlfriend.com (Isn’t their brand name so cute first of all!)
Here are some pics of me wearing them:
The leggings are made from water bottles (so cool, I know) which they turn into a yarn that can be used to create this fabric. I love what they stand for because they chose an SA8000 factory which means that the workers are paid fair wages and work in a safe environment while still producing high quality clothing.
Please note that I am just under 5 feet tall so they fit me a little long, if you’re of average height they will fit you just fine! I am wearing size S.
Hey guys! Here are the products I use to get rid of my dry skin during the cold winter. I also featured them in a video*:
Intense:Aquaphor Healing Ointment – Lather as much or as little as you want on your hands before going to bed and wake up with much softer, smoother hands
Daily:Bath & Body Works Nourishing Hand Cream ~$5 – This smells kind of strong but soooooo good. I don’t know if I can recommend this in public places in case you are around people who have allergies to scents and fragrances but it’s lovely to use and it makes your hands soft!
On-the-Go:Nivea Creme $1 – It’s simple and lightly scented; I throw this in my college backpack, going-out bag, and work bag.
*Not sponsored btw, I purchased everything on my own to try and make my hands smooth again
*Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap…* It was the sound I heard from 6PM to 2AM yesterday night and the night before while typing out all of my essays that were due today.
To anyone who does not want to procrastinate; here are some things I did that helped me stay in focus and get sh*t done:
Map out everything your need to do for each class so nothing is forgotten and you can physically see what assignments are left.
Thomas Frank’s “Study With Me” video; he uses the 25/5 pomodoro studying technique and there’s a timer at the bottom of the screen.
Give your phone to someone who can hold onto it until you are done working on assignments. If you’re worried about missing anything important, have them periodically check your notifications for you.
Go old school and make flashcards to study and memorize important terms and concepts. If you don’t like handwriting things or prefer portability, make them using Quizlet and then review them on your phone between classes.
When I said all of my essays; I meant seven of them. Five were reflection papers based on what we went over in class and two of them were longer works; a midterm and a final paper. Why did I have to write so many essays in a short period of time? Because I hate myself. Just kidding, I love myself so much that I let myself avoid responsibilities for a while. After this, I swear I’m not going to procrastinate again…so I tell myself.
