hey! Here is a room tour at pod51 hotel in New York City.

We stayed in a Queen room for a weekend and put together our review of the place. The location is the best part! I’ve always wanted to stay in a pod or capsule hotel and this is as close as I can get before doing the international tiny pods.

pros:

– stay in Manhattan on a budget

– best for people who are out and about all day

– location in Manhattan is great, a lot of places are walkable from here

– very good service and easy check-in/check-out

cons:

– you can sometimes hear people in the hallways

– if you easily feel claustrophobic/are a bigger person you may not like this hotel (we booked this knowing and expecting a small space so we were ok with it)

heads up:

– the private Queen bathroom has a window has a window that anyone staying in the room can look into
