Making DIY Hot Cocoa Bombs! || VLOGMAS EP 3

Hey everyone! Hot cocoa bombs have been popping up on tiktok/IG/etc and I had to try it because it looked so fun and I had the molds already. All you need is hot cocoa mix, melting chocolate, molds, and mini marshmallows (or dehydrated marshmallows)!

What I used:

  • Ghiradelli Chocolate Melting Wafers – Dark Chocolate
  • Ghiradelli Chocolate Melting Wafers – White Chocolate
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Swiss Miss hot cocoa mix – Marshmallow (any mix will do!)
  • Half sphere molds (found mine on Amazon)
  • Utensils: spoon/mixing stick, bowls, a surface to put your cocoa ball shells, etc.

To drink:

  • Use a mug that will fit the cocoa bomb inside (mine were huge so I had to use a huge mug)
  • Heat up the milk (it needs to be hot enough to melt the chocolate!) – I just microwaved mine for almost 2 minutes
  • Carefully pour over and enjoy

It was so fun to make and share with my little cousins!

Baking Sunflower Cupcakes!

Last week, I spent a few hours with friends in my kitchen baking and decorating cupcakes. I had expressed how much I missed making pretty cupcakes for school bake sales when I was in high school and we all wanted to bake again! Now that I’m in college, there are way less opportunities to host bake sales on campus…

Here is a video of how we made them and more:

These are also how our pictures turned out:

72 Hours in Chicago (First Time!)

Hey guys! Last month I had the opportunity to visit Chicago for a few days. Most of these pictures were taken on the same day of exploring. I uploaded a short travel vlog;

Of course, I had to go to Millenium Park first to see THE BEAN!

We walked from Millenium Park to Navy Pier to meet up with the guys in our group and along the way, we came across these views!

There’s way to many pictures and things we saw throughout the city so I just chose a set of photos from the same general area.

Last but not least, you cannot go to Chicago without trying deep dish pizza. We chose Giordano’s!

Pro tip: DO NOT order appetizers before getting your own personal pan pizza. When they say deep dish, it’s thicc af. I could barely get through half of mine after having mozzarella sticks and other cheese-related samplers.

Kracie Poppin Cookin

2015/11/img_99302.jpg
Earlier this week, my sister made gummy zoo animals using a Kracie Popin Cookin kit. I filmed the process and made a small clip:

I bought it from Tomodachi at the Mall of America (Bloomington, MN) as a souvenir. My sister has been watching these little videos for a few years already but we never saw them available in stores! They can be found online via Amazon (prime shipping!) or cheaper but it would take up to a month to be delivered versus two days.

Do you know if there’s any U.S. versions available? I wish I had these candy kits while I was growing up!
